Ganesh Chaturthi 2023 is here and the frenzy to visit Mumbai’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja in person is already taking over devotees. Located in the Putalabai Chawl, the “King of Lalbaug" is one of the most visited Ganesh idols in Mumbai. The mammoth statue embellished with staggering gold jewellery resides in the pandal for about 11 days thereby attracting lakhs of devotees and pilgrims from all across the world.
The celebration at the Lalbaugcha Raja during Ganesh Chaturthi 2023 is going to take place on a grand scale as this year will mark 90 years of its commemoration. Here’s everything that you need to know about its live darshan and online Prasad facility.
Lalbaughcha Raja Darshan Timings
Mukh Darshan and Navas Charan Sparsh Darshan: The darshan begins with an aarti at 4 am. However, to prepare for the Visarjan, the Charan Sparsh queue will close early today on Wednesday, September 27 at 6 am, while the Mukh Darshan line will shut at 12 midnight.
How to watch LIVE darshan of Lalbaugcha Raja online?
The organizers of Lalbaugcha Raja are hosting live online darshan for devotees who cannot visit in person. The sessions is being made available on the Mandal’s official website and social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). The live broadcast is available 24 hours a day. The live telecast of the event is being broadcast on the YouTube channel.

How to order Lalbaugcha Raja’s Prasad online?
Just like last year, the organizers of Lalbaugcha Raja have collaborated with Jio Mart and Paytm to deliver Prasad online. The devotees who cannot visit the holy pandal themselves can order Prasad at their doorsteps within just a click of a button. It is important to note that JioMart will only take orders in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane.
The Prasad package includes two pieces of Bundi laddu per set. The cost of the sweets is merely Rs 51 which is inclusive of all taxes. The delivery is completely free of cost with no minimum order.
Even though the festival begins on September 19, JioMart has facilitated people to pre-book while the deliveries have already kick-started from September 1 onwards. Now, for devotees hailing outside Mumbai, all across India and outside the country, the holy Prasad will be made available via Paytm. Per set of the Paytm order included 250 gm of dry fruits.
After approximately 11 days, in Anant Chaturdashi, the Ganesh idol of Lalbaugcha Raja will be immersed in the Arabian sea.
How to reach Lalbaugcha Raja 2023
By Train: Get off at Lower Parel station on the Western Railway route or Curry Road station on the Central Railway route and walk to the pandal.
By Road: If you are going by road, you can take Chhatrapati Shivaji Ground (Garam Khada) and T.B. Kadam Marg to reach the pandal.
