Dublin: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday arrived in Ireland, becoming the first Indian PM to visit the European country in 60 years.
He was accorded a warm welcome as he arrived in Dublin for a day-long visit.
Ahead of a one-on-one meeting and delegation-level talks, Taoiseach (Prime Minister) Enda Kenny gifted PM Modi a jersey of the cricket team of Ireland.

The Prime Minister was also handed over a sliotar and a hurley by the Irish premier.

In return, Prime Minister Modi gifted Kenny reproductions of selected manuscripts and papers from the National Archives of India.
The Prime Minister further tweeted that "the selection is connected with Irish officials, Mr. Thomas Oldham & Sir George Abraham Grierson, recognising their contribution to India".
