According to reports, the name of this 24-year-old girl is Liana Foster, who is a resident of Britain. She recently took a trip to Turkey. At night, she turned on the AC before sleeping and then fell asleep. Later, due to AC, Liana suffered from tonsillitis, after which she had to be admitted to the hospital. The girl said that this trip was no less than a nightmare.
Reports suggest Liana Foster was on a holiday with her family in Antalya, Turkey when she complained of a sore throat. She fell asleep with the AC on at night. The temperature was also probably very low. So, she felt “unconscious” the next day.
Her 52-year-old mother, Lynette, saw white patches on her daughter’s tonsils. She got scared and immediately took her daughter to the hospital. After Liana was hospitalized and examined, a shocking truth came to light.
Doctors said that this was probably due to air conditioning. Doctors admitted her to the hospital and started treating her immediately. Liana had to stay in the hospital for 5 hours. When her condition improved, the doctors let her go home.
Although Liana’s health has improved a lot, despite this, she has been taking antibiotics since last week and is slowly recovering.
Liana, who is a content creator by profession, said, “I felt quite nervous and had an ache in my throat. I was shivering. I was neither able to eat nor drink. My body temperature was high, and I suspected I had Corona. My whole body was aching. But when I went to the hospital, the doctors said that I had tonsillitis.”
Doctors also added that there must have been fungus inside the AC, due to which Liana’s condition worsened. Initially, Liana was not even able to take any medicine by mouth. So doctors had to give her injections twice a day for three days.
Later, Liana added, “I think everything would have been fine if we did not sleep with the air conditioner on. I’ve had tonsillitis before, but it wasn’t as awful. If the bacteria travels down the throat, it can enter the heart and other organs.”
Liana now wants to caution individuals planning vacations to think twice about sleeping with the air conditioner on. Also, asked everyone to make sure that the AC is regularly maintained.
