AR Rahman Impressed With This Magical Makeover Of Agar Tum Saath Ho

Music composer Bharat Goel, known for making unique rendition of songs, has earned praise from Grammy and Oscar winning maestro AR Rahman for making a reimagined version of Agar Tum Saath Ho from the film Tamasha. The original song featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone was given a fresh twist by Bharat using a vocal clip from Arijit Singh, who sang a few lines during a media event. The musician expertly blended Arijit’s raw vocals with flute and keyboard, giving a new life to the soulful tune. Rahman, impressed by the track, shared it on his Instagram, providing Bharat’s composition a major boost. The video went viral on social media and quickly became one of the most watched reels with over 1.5 million views.

The revamped version of the song not only captured the attention of social media users and the music maestro, AR Rahman but was also praised by various industry artists like Harshdeep Kaur, Shantanu Maheshwari and Rochak Kohli. The video features Arijit in the middle of an interview, where a reporter requests him to sing any song. Surprisingly, he chose the song from the Ranbir and Deepika starrer, while Bharat then added his unique twist to the song. Sharing the post, the musician wrote, “Agar tum saath ho is an iconic song composed by AR Rahman from the movie Tamasha. Beautiful sung by Arijit Singh and Alka Yagnik.”
