Celebrations for Ganesh Chaturthi are in full swing. While some devotees worship Lord Ganesha at their homes, others visit pandals and temples to offer their prayers. Television actor Shalin Bhanot visited the most famous Lalbaugcha Raja Pandal to offer prayers.
On September 7, Bollywood Bubble shared a video of Shalin going for a darshan. The actor wears a white printed kurta and happily interacts with the paparazzi. Shalin then starts chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” along with others as they proceed for the darshan.
The actor is currently seen on the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, hosted by Rohit Shetty. A few days back, the channel shared a new promo on its Instagram page. The show’s host introduces the season’s first stunt on a helicopter. While Rohit explained the stunt, Shalin asked, “Sir, the helicopter will be very high up, right?” Rohit humorously responded, “No, we are running it on the ground. It moves on four tyres like this.” Shalin replied, “No, no, it’s at a height, right?”
Further, the host lovingly hugs the actor and says, “You need help. I’ve been scolding you for no reason. When we get to Mumbai, we’ll meet some doctors. I’ll cover the expenses.” This left the other contestants laughing uncontrollably. The episode will air on the channel today.
Shalin was earlier married to television actress Daljiet Kaur. The former couple made it to the headlines during their ugly divorce, where the latter accused him of domestic violence. The two filed for divorce in 2015. According to a report by Hindustan Times, the 40-year-old actor talked about his personal life during his participation in a reality show and said, “I don’t get bothered about my personal life coming out because that is just probably, just 20-30 per cent of my personal life and I have always kept it in my own space. I have always tried to keep my personal life pretty persona.”
