NASA today received an approval from the President of the US, Donald Trump, for a $19.5 Billion fund to be used to pursue its endeavours to reach the Mars surface.
The bill was passed to help the Space Agency achieve its goal of completing a manned mission to mars by 2033. The budget is the largest ever allotted to the agency to focus on space exploration.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, however, was not so impressed by the amount allotted for the purpose. Soon after the approval by Donald Trump, he tweeted: “This bill changes almost nothing about what NASA is doing.”
