The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus offer minor yet important enhancements. The biggest difference between the two is in size, with the iPhone 16 having a 6.1-inch display and the 16 Plus having a larger 6.7-inch display. Both variants have a longer battery life, upgraded camera systems, and the newest A18 processor which will support the Apple Intelligence features with iOS 18.1 update from next month. The devices are available in five colours: teal, pink, ultramarine, white, and black.
The iPhone 16 Pro has a 6.3-inch display and the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a large 6.9-inch screen, both with reduced bezels. The A18 Pro chip powers the Pro models, providing lightning-fast speed, increased battery economy and AI capabilities tailored to generative AI workloads. The cameras on the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max have been significantly upgraded. Both have a 48MP primary camera, a second-generation quad-pixel sensor and a new 5x telephoto lens that was previously only available on the Pro Max.
These Pro versions also feature a 48MP ultra-wide camera for improved macro images and low-light performance, making them ideal for photography aficionados. Apple is also introducing a dedicated camera button, enabling more accurate, multi-layered control when taking photos and films. The 16 Pro series also gets a new desert titanium colour which was speculated in the last few weeks and Apple made it official at the event.
