Telangana: Partial bandh underway in region

New Delhi: A partial bandh called by the TRS over the demand for separate statehood is currently underway in the Telangana region.

Educational institutes have been exempt due to the ongoing Board examinations.

Public transport including buses and autos are also plying on the routes.

Although schools and colleges are functioning, an exam scheduled for Tuesday at Osmania University was postponed.

Meanwhile, cinema halls and malls are expected to remain shut.

MPs from the region had created a ruckus in Parliament on Monday after one of the two student activists who set themselves on fire over the separate statehood demand, died.
