AAJ KA PANCHANG, AUGUST 16, 2024: The Ekadashi Tithi and Dwadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha are said to take place on Friday, August 16, as per Drik Panchang. Both Shukla Ekadashi and Shukla Dwadashi are considered auspicious for commencing important activities like homa/homam/havana/havanam/yagna/yagnam. In addition, they both fall within Shubh Muhurta’s timings.
On this day, four important festivals will be observed by devotees – Varalakshmi Vrat, Simha Sankranti, Shravana Putrada Ekadashi, and Damodara Dwadashi. Tithis, as well as auspicious and inauspicious timings, are extremely crucial when holding any event.
