Cong ally Abdullah to skip swearing-in for IPL match
The NC is reportedly upset with Cong for not having telephoned Farooq.

New Delhi: DMK is not the only ally upset with the Congress way of handling things. The National Conference is unhappy too.

Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah said the NC expected “a basic courtesy from Congress to inform my father (Farooq Abdullah) whether he was being inducted in the government or not”.

NC chief Farooq Abdullah is reportedly skipping the swearing-in ceremony slated for 1830 hrs on Friday is flying to South Africa to attend one of the IPL cricket matches.

However, Omar Abdullah will attend the ceremony.

Earlier, Farooq Abdullah had made clear said that party has made no demands from the Congress and had given unconditional support.

Congress has won five of the six Lok Sabha seats and retained the two assembly seats of Sonarar and Bhaderwah.
