BJP clarify things going right with their allies.

New Delhi: Not withstanding the reports about troubles within the NDA partners on reaching an electoral understanding for the coming Lok Sabha polls, the BJP on Friday, asserted that talks with its allies were taking place in the right course and things would be clear very soon.

On attention being drawn towards the disconcerting reports about the trouble BJP is having with its allies in Maharashtra and Orissa, BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said, the party was involved in talks with its allies on seat sharing and was totally confident that the alliance partners would firm up the understanding without problems.

The number of contentious seats are too small to cause concerns,he felt.

There have been reports that the Shiv Sena leadership in Maharashtra was prevaricating on its alliance with BJP and the NDA, and the BJD, the senior partner in Orissa, was also having similar thoughts about the saffron party.

However, all the parties are maintaining that there is no confusion and they were only sorting out some rough edges in the alliance caused by delimitation of constituencies.

The BJP has also entered into an understanding with new NDA partners like Om Prakash Chautala's Indian National Lok Dal, Ajit Singh's National Lok Dal and Asom Gana Parishad.

The party, which leads the NDA, has already announced its list of 166 Lok Sabha candidates so far.
