UP International Trade Show: Traffic Curbs for 5 Days on Yamuna, Noida Expressways | Routes to Avoid

The Noida Traffic Police on Wednesday issued a traffic advisory restricting vehicular movement on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway from September 21-25 given the international trade fair and MotoGP race.
According to the advisory, entry and movement of heavy, medium and light goods vehicles from Delhi to Gautam Buddha Nagar will be restricted from 6 a.m. on Thursday.
Apart from this, heavy vehicles will also be prohibited from using the DND Flyway, Chilla Road, Kalindi Kunj, New Ashok Nagar, and Jhundpura borders.
The Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway will also be off-limits to buses, heavy vehicles, and non-commercial vehicles, except for those carrying essential goods like milk, vegetables, and medicines.
Restrictions will also be imposed near Pari Chowk and vehicular movement across the city will be impacted, the advisory added.
The Noida traffic police have also issued a helpline number (9971009001 and 9355057381) for assistance in traffic-related matters during the summit adding that the commuters are encouraged to make use of the metro on the above dates.
Noida Metro to Increase Train Frequency for UP International Trade Show
The Noida Metro Rail Corporation will increase the frequency of trains on the Aqua Line during the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show from September 21 to 25.
Entry for the general public is free from 3 pm to 8 pm, Rakesh Kumar, chairman of India Expo Centre and Mart said.
Usually, metro trains on the Aqua Line run at an interval of 10 minutes. However, during peak hours — 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 8 pm — the metro trains run at an interval of 7.5 minutes, according to NMRC The MD also said parking facilities also available at eight Aqua Line metro stations — Sector 51, Sector 76, NSEZ, Sector 142, Sector-137, Pari Chowk, Alpha 1 and Delta 1.

President Droupadi Murmu will visit Greater Noida on Thursday to inaugurate the first Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show. The trade show is to be held from September 21 to 25.
