Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, is all set to shatter all the records at the box office by becoming the biggest Bollywood opener of all time. Jawan has already beaten SRK’s last release Pathaan in advance sales as it has sold more than 14 lakh tickets. Directed by Atlee, Jawan releases worldwide in theatres today.
As viewers thronged theatres nationwide to watch Jawan, the long-awaited action film became a victim of piracy. In a matter of hours following its premiere, Jawan was illicitly shared online, and the film can now be watched at no cost through applications like Telegram and on various torrent websites.
Tagging the union minister for information and broadcasting ,Anurag Thakur, as well as Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter (X), a fan wrote, “Which law have you made? Right now no one is following that law. Jawan has been released today, and after some time it has been leaked online. The film industry suffers huge losses due to movies being leaked online.”
September 7 will always be remembered and celebrated by Shah Rukh Khan fans as Jawan fever has gripped the entire nation and has turned into a festival. The Atlee directorial is getting immense love from the audience and critics alike. Several videos of fans dancing inside and outside theatres from all over the country are going viral on social media. Following the film’s phenomenal opening, Atlee has now expressed his gratitude to fans.
