Rajkumar Hirani’s film, Dunki, has undeniably made a significant impact on the hearts of the audience with its heartwarming story. The film has been immensely loved by family audiences worldwide, leaving viewers of all age groups impressed. Especially, the NRI audience is fondly relating to the film, contributing to its global success and making it a box office hit. Besides SRK, fans have also lauded other actors in the film like Vikram Kochhar. The actor in his latest interview revealed his experience visiting SRK’s Mannat and how he was the part of the same crowd who used to stand outside the Superstar’s house.
Speaking with Home Bollywood, Vikram Kochhar shared, “Shah Rukh sir welcomed us very warmly, fed us amazing snacks. We met his son, AbRam, who was baking a cake that day. He served us the cake he’d made. He’s a very cute and sensible kid. In fact, calling him a kid feels odd.”
He further added, “It was better than I’d ever imagined. It’s a very comfortable space, and a lot of it has to do with the way Shah Rukh sir hosts his guests. It feels like a lived-in place. Sir loves robots, he’s fascinated by technology, that’s why his films have a lot of VFX… Robots were lying around in his house, and he started telling us about them. Everything had a purpose, everybody was taken care of. It was all very nice, the exhausts and ACs were all proper and nice.”
Dunki has now crossed the $5 million (close to Rs 34 crore) gross mark in North America. Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan also crossed the $5 million mark in North America. This means that SRK now has three films that have crossed the mark in a single year. With this, King Khan has become the first actor in the history of Indian cinema to deliver three $5+ million grosses in a single calendar year in North America.
