Ananya Panday Says She PULLED Shanaya Kapoor's Hair For Talking To Another Girl: 'She Fell Backwards...'
Ananya Panday recalled her fight with Shanaya Kapoor when she pulled her hair for talking to another girl.

Ananya Panday’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan released on Netflix on December 26. The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav as the leads and is about the “digital coming of age” of three best friends. Speaking about her friendships, Ananya recently recalled an incident when she pulled her best friend Shanaya Kapoor’s hair because she felt possessive.

Speaking to Tanmay Bhatt and Rohan Joshi, Ananya said, “Shanaya and I were walking out of Tryst one time, and she spoke to another girl. I got angry, and then I pulled her hair. And then she fell backwards.” Ananya added that this left Shanaya in tears.

The story left Adarsh in shock who then asked, “Just because she spoke to another girl?” “Yes. I’m very possessive,” Ananya replied. She further added, “I pulled her hair and then she called me and then she cried and said, ‘You’re my only friend’. I was like ‘Shut up’.” Adarsh quipped, “So you weren’t lying when you said I’m a psycho stalker.”

News18’s review of the film reads, “At 2 hours 14 minutes, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan makes for a breezy watch. The film might not be too heavy on plot, but the characters and their individual and collective journeys drive the narrative forward. And despite the lack of big events unfolding, the film keeps you hooked throughout. The narrative rarely drops pace and the credit for the same goes to its writers. Its album might not be its strongest suit but the songs are seamlessly blended into the plot.”

“The film also sees some strong performances by its cast. Ananya Panday plays Ahana with aplomb and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call it her best performance… She shares an easy camaraderie with Siddhant Chaturvedi, who plays Imaad, and Adarsh Gourav, who essays Neil. The boys too bring a lot of subtlety and realness to their characters and they do complete justice to them,” the review also mentioned.
