He recently stirred the headlines with his interview with the YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia amidst the promotions of his film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Akshay Kumar is one of the remarkable actors of the Hindi film industry, known for his acting mettle in films like Khiladi (1992), Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Mr & Mrs Khiladi (1997), etc. He recently stirred the headlines for his interview with the YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia amidst the promotions of his film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He and Tiger Shroff had attended this interview. In this interview, the Mr & Mrs Khiladi actor recounted how he felt frustrated at one point in life but then saw five cars parked in the parking lot of his house. Kumar then cursed himself for being stressed out despite having so much to cherish in his life. After watching the cars, he stopped being frustrated.

His next, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, will hit the big screens on April 11. The film stars an ensemble of Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tiger Shroff, Alaya F, Manushi Chhillar and others. Initially, the movie was expected to release on April 10. Now it has been postponed to April 11. The delay in release by a day might be a mood dampener among the viewers, eagerly awaiting the Bollywood action movie. After Eid was announced in India on April 11, the movie release was postponed. As per Sacnilk, the movie has sold around 34,523 tickets so far, which is likely to be converted into gross earnings of Rs 81.46 lakhs (approx) on Day 1.

Akshay Kumar also looks forward to breaking his dry spell at the box office with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Most of his recent releases, except OMG 2, including Raksha Bandhan, Samrat Prithviraj and Mission Raniganj haven’t done well at the box office. In an interaction with the Press Trust of India, he said, “Whether it was Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Airlift, Rustom or many other films that I have done… Sometimes there is success, sometimes it’s not. It is not that I have not seen (this phase) before. There was a time when I had 16 consecutive flops. But I stood there and kept on doing work."
