Speaking of Varun Dhawan’s professional endeavours, the actor is set to make a mark with his upcoming film, Baby John, which is a remake of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri. Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav join him to play pivotal roles in the film. If this was not enough, reports suggest that Salman Khan may also be seen, playing a senior police officer, a mentor to Varun’s character. Directed by A Kaleeswaran and produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee and Jyoti Deshpande, Baby John is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 25.
Before Baby John, Varun Dhawan has the action packed series Citadel: Honey Bunny lined up for its release. The Indian spin-off to Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s 2023 released Citadel will be out on November 7. Co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role, the series will also feature Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem and Sikandar Kher in pivotal roles.
That’s not all. Varun Dhawan has several projects in his kitty and all of them are intriguing enough. Collaborating with his father David Dhawan for a film titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, the actor completed the first schedule of shooting for the same a few weeks back. As of now, he is busy filming for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra will also join the star cast for the added excitement.
