Another actress who represented India at Miss World 2015 quit acting after starring in one of the biggest flops of Bollywood. She is none other than Aditi Arya Kotak. She is an Indian actress, model, research analyst and beauty pageant titleholder, who represented India at Miss World 2015. The actress is now married to the son of Asia’s richest banker. Aditi Arya attended Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School in her younger years before moving to Gurgaon, where she completed her schooling from Amity International School. She then completed her degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. Aditi Arya Kotak then pursued her MBA from Yale School of Management.
Aditi Arya gave up her well-paying job as a research analyst with one of the big four accounting firms, Ernst & Young, to enter a beauty pageant and was crowned the winner of Femina Miss India World 2015.
Aditi Arya made her acting debut in Puri Jagannadh’s film with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram titled Ism, which became a box office hit. After that, she acted in Kurukshetra and the Hindi web series Tantra. She failed to gain fame yet again.
Aditi Arya made her big Bollywood film debut in Kabir Khan’s 83, in which she played the role of Saqib Saleem’s wife. The film flopped miserably at the box office. Following this, Aditi gave up acting.
Aditi Arya is married to Jai Kotak, the son of banker Uday Kotak, one of the richest men in India. According to a list by Forbes magazine, Kotak is worth $13.4 billion (Rs 1,11,600 crore), making him the 14th richest man in the country as of 2023.
