Sonam Kapoor embraced motherhood in August 2022 and the actress and her husband, Anand Ahuja, welcomed their son, Vayu. Since then, they have been committed to completing their parental responsibilities while effectively balancing their professional lives. The couple frequently share glimpses of the munchkin on their social media accounts, and recently, Anand and Sonam surprised followers by posting a series of adorable photos and videos of their baby boy.
Sonam Kapoor and her friend, Anand Ahuja, took to Instagram to share a series of photos and videos. In the post, Vayu is seen out and about with his grandparents. The child seems to be quite active, with his family doting on him. In most of the pictures, Vayu is seen holding on to his guardian’s hand. A short clip shows him running with his father and chasing a family member who is seen sprinting in front of him. In the caption, they wrote, “Baba & Dadi come to town to run run run run w baby Vayu.” He also expressed his love for Mumbai.
Anand Ahuja are quite active when it comes to sharing pictures of his son who takes on new activities as he grows up. Some months back, the industrialist shared a lovely photo of his son Vayu where he was seen holding a basketball in front of a shelf filled with similar balls. In another photo, Anand Ahuja and Sonam Kapoor are seen posing for a mirror selfie. Sonam wears black, while Anand Ahuja wears white. Anand wrote in the caption, “Give the ones you love wings to fly, roots to come back and reasons to stay.”
Sonam and Anand married in a traditional ceremony on May 8, 2018, and welcomed their son in 2022. Post the birth of her son, the actress was on a break. Last year, she made her comeback in the industry. Sonam starred in Shome Makhija’s film Blind, also featuring Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey. This film marks Sonam’s return to acting after a maternity leave.
The actress also has several more projects in the works. Recently, Tate Modern, one of the world’s largest museums of modern and contemporary art, has appointed Sonam Kapoor to its South Asia Acquisition Committee. Tate Modern has chosen Sonam as the first Indian actor to play this crucial role.
