Shilpa Shinde has taken a shocking dig at Anil Kapoor for hosting Bigg Boss OTT 3. On Tuesday, the actress was snapped by the paparazzi in Mumbai when she was asked if she had been watching the ongoing season of the controversial reality show. Shilpa mentioned that watching Bigg Boss is not fun if Salman Khan isn’t hosting it.

“Host nahi hai toh mazaa nahi hai (There is no fun if we do not have the original host),” she said hinting at Salman Khan’s absence from Bigg Boss OTT. She further took a dig at Anil Kapoor and added, “Jhakaas walo ke apne jagah alag hai. Baaki, Bigg Boss bole toh bhai bhai.”

Karan Johar hosted the first season of Bigg Boss OTT. In the second season, Salman Khan took over hosting duties. However, in the ongoing third season, Anil Kapoor is seen schooling housemates during the Weekend Ka Vaar.

Previously, Anil Kapoor, who co-starred with Salman in films such as “No Entry”, “Race 3”, “Biwi No. 1”, and “Yuvvraaj”, said the former presenter is excited about him stepping in as the host for the upcoming OTT season of the controversial reality show.

“He is irreplaceable and so am I. Everyone’s asking this question but it is very wrong. Nobody can replace Salman Khan. Similarly, nobody can replace Anil Kapoor. I spoke to him about it and he was excited that I’ve now taken over a non-fiction show. I wanted to do something different for a long time now. I’ve done many movies, judged shows but have never done anything like ‘Bigg Boss’, so I’m very excited for it,” Anil Kapoor told reporters at the press conference of Bigg Boss OTT 3.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shinde is all set to come back on TV with the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. The shooting of the stunt-based reality show recently wrapped up in Romania. Previously, Shilpa talked about participating in KKK and said, “I’m ready to give Khatron Ke Khiladi everything I’ve got. It is an honour to have the opportunity to learn from the incredible action guru Rohit Shetty sir himself. I’m excited about exploring and breaking the physical and mental barriers that have held me back until now.
