After the trailer’s unveiling, Salman Khan was invited to share a few words. Contrary to expectations for a longer speech, the superstar kept it brief yet impactful. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, he said, “I came for the trailer launch of the first part and it became a super hit. I hope the sequel is an even bigger hit. Thank you. Jai Hind. Jai Maharashtra!”
‘Dharmaveer’ recounts the life of Anand Dighe, one of Shiv Sena’s most revered leaders in Maharashtra. Notably, Eknath Shinde, a prominent figure in the first part, is Dighe’s protégé. The talented Prasad Oak portrayed Anand Dighe, while Kshitish Date took on the role of Eknath Shinde.
Earlier this month, actor and producer Bobby Deol, alongside the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, unveiled the highly anticipated ‘Dharmaveer 2’ poster in Mumbai. The event, which also saw the presence of the film’s cast and crew, was brimming with excitement. Deol expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm for the upcoming release, marking the occasion as a significant milestone in the film’s journey.
He shared, “It’s an honour to be part of this celebration. The performance in the first part was commendable, and I congratulate CM Eknath Shinde on his two successful years in government.”
‘Dharmaveer 2’ is set to hit theaters on August 9, available in both its original Marathi version and a Hindi dubbed version.
