The first poster of the film Pyaar, written and directed by Dr Manoj Govindan in Malayalam and English, has been released. The film has been made under the banner of Wide Screen Media Productions. The poster has been released by famous directors CB Malail and Priyanandanan. The film will be released as Pyaar in Malayalam and Why Not in English. Bollywood actresses Ketaki Narayan, Amika Shail, Hollywood actress Irena Mihalkovic and famous dancer-actor Jobin George are playing the lead roles in this film. The post-production work of the film is progressing at a brisk pace. The lyrics of the film’s songs are written by Kaitapram, Murali Neelambari, Dr Joji Kuriakos and Nitin Ashtamurthy, the music is composed by Rinil Gautham. The film will reportedly deal with homosexuality, and is a love story of two women.

Ketaki Narayan was last seen in the Telugu film Yatra 2. She shared a behind-the-scenes look at her role as Jiivas Bharati, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s wife. The film, directed by Mahi V Raghav was released on February 8. The film explores the political journey of CM Jagan and stars Mammootty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Suzanne Bernert and Subhalekha Sudhakar.

Ketaki, who has acted in Malayalam and Marathi films, admitted in an interview w how difficult it is to play a real-life character while expressing her joy and amazement at getting to play the role. When asked how she felt about Mahi V Raghav’s remark on how much she looks like Bharati, Ketaki said she was thrilled. She spoke about the unique challenge of playing a real-life character while portraying Bharati’s status as an educated woman and daughter of doctors. Watching footage of Bharati and the information she received from the cast and crew helped her prepare for the role.

Ketaki was instructed by Mahi to play the role to the best of her ability and take responsibility for her. Ketaki stressed on the need to capture Bharati’s calm demeanour despite her vivacious appearance. Thinking back to a particular scene, she remembered Mahi telling her to fully commit to the role and play a crucial sequence.
