Lucky to Get Offered Variety of Films: Akshaye Khanna
Akshaye Khanna last acted in the Sridevi starrer 'Mom', a thriller directed by Ravi Udyawar.

During his decade-long career in Bollywood, Akshaye Khanna has been successful in showing his versatility as an actor. From playing a lover boy to playing an antagonist and a police officer, Akshaye had made a conscious decision to not stick to just one genre.

On being asked why makes his opt for diverse roles, Akshaye said: "I have been fortunate. (But) That's not in my hands. I have to give the credits to the people, who have made those films with me because they have not slotted me and they have given me opportunities of doing different kind of stuff (roles)."

"But I have been fortunate, lucky that various kinds of film have been offered to me. Not ever actor is that lucky in this particular sense. So I feel fortunate," he added.

Akshaye was recently seen in the Sridevi 300th film Mom.

The film which was co-produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda, Mukesh Talreja, Naresh Agarwal and Gautam Jain, was released last month in four languages.

The actor is busy with his next film Ittefaq. Directed by Abhay Chopra, Ittefaq is an adaptation of the 1969 film by the same title. Ittefaq also features Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha in key roles.
