Bollywood’s favourite Rajkummar Rao has lately been basking in the success of his horror-comedy film Stree 2. Be it a professional update or a development on personal level, the actor never shies away from sharing his happiness with his fans. Now, on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, RajKummar Rao visited a temple with his wife Partalekhaa and sought blessings from the almighty.
The actor shared a glimpse of their temple visit on Instagram and wished his followers on the significant Hindu festival. “Happy Janmashtmi Everyone. From Us to You,” his caption read.
Known for their strong bond, power couple Rajkummar Rao and Partalekhaa are often seen dishing out major couple goals. The husband-wife duo chose traditional outfits for their temple visit. While Rajkummar Rao looked dapper in a maroon kurta, Partalekhaa’s beautiful yellow salwar suit stole our hearts.
Social media users were quick to send back their wishes to the lovebirds. While many penned, “Radhe radhe”, some noted, “Happy Janmashtami.” A person also showered love saying, “You too sir… Stree 2 super duper hit hai sir…. Mazaa aa gaya apko aur apke kaam ko dekh k.” Someone else added, “And to you both. Keep shining. And stay blessed.” “Stree 2 Super Hit,” another comment read.
Janmashtami, which marks the birth of Lord Krishna, is celebrated across India with pomp and fervour. Devotees observe fast, perform puja and also visit temples to commemorate the event.
Speaking on Rajkummar Rao’s latest release Stree 2, the film created a storm at the box office soon after its release on August 15. The horror-comedy faced Bollywood clash from other notable releases such as Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa.
Helmed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee in significant roles. Varun Dhawan and Akshay Kumar have special cameos in the flick while Tamannaah Bhatia shone in the item song Aaj Ki Raat.
