There is a certain calmness in her which is so soothing to see!” A fan, who seemingly missed watching her on screen, mentioned, “Her eyes, her smile, best mommy ever on screen, miss that era.” An individual appreciated her saying, “Timeless beauty with eternal grace.”

While the veteran actor’s role in Heeramandi has been kept under wraps, a short glimpse from the trailer showcased her dressed in a regal outfit. Besides Jalal, the Netflix series will see a talented bunch of stars including Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal in pivotal roles. Bhansali’s debut series will be released on May 1 on Netflix.

Up next, the actress will also be seen tickling the audience’s funny bones in Akshay Kumar’s Welcome To The Jungle. Previously, a source quoted by HT City informed, “Farida ji takes up fewer projects nowadays due to her age and because she’s selective about the work she does.” He added, “However, she was on board when she heard the script and found it to be a family entertainer. She has maintained one thing all these years – she always stars in films that a family can sit and watch together, right from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) to Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018).”
