Big Girls Don’t Cry actress Aneet Padda has been roped in by one of the biggest production houses in the country for a multiple film deal, as per latest reports. After impressing the audience with her skills and talent in the series Big Girls Don’t Cry, the young actress was approached by Yash Raj Films (YRF) for a reported three-film deal. Aditya Chopra’s YRF banner has been one of the leading productions to give Bollywood’s some of its best and biggest talents. According to the latest buzz, the production’s possible new leading lady is reported to be Aneet Padda. The source reported further, “There is a strong buzz that Aneet Padda has been signed by YRF after smashing her auditions. She is being given a huge film for her debut as the quintessential YRF heroine.” It further stated that the company has big hopes for Aneet and wants to assist her in her career through a spectacular debut in the future.
The source further mentioned that the production house is planning to launch four new talents within the course of a year. It said, “Aditya Chopra has always punted big on newcomers and invested in giving them massive launch films.” The four newcomers are expected to have a similar launch. It stated further that YRF is ready to go “all out” with Aneet Padda’s launch, their next “big discovery.” The starlet has signed a three-film contract with the production and will be exclusively under the management of YRF Talent.
Dubbed as a coming-of-age drama, Big Girls Don’t Cry featured Aneet Padda in the role of Roohi Ahuja. The show also starred names like Pooja Bhatt, Mukul Chadda, Raima Sen, Zoya Hussain and Avantika Vandanapu, among many others. Filmmakers like Sudhanshu Saria, Kopal Naithani and Karan Kapadia have helmed the series while Nitya Mehra is the creator as well as executive producer. The producers are Karan Kapadia and Ashi Dua. The show premiered on Amazon Prime Video, on March 14, this year.
