Ananya Panday, known for her active social media presence, recently made her debut on the Threads app. To kick off her time on the platform, the actress dove straight into her first Ask Me Anything session, where she engaged with her fans on topics ranging from her Bollywood journey to her personal hobbies. During the session, the Kho Gaye Hum Kahan star opened up about what inspired her to enter the film industry and also shared thoughts on her favourite music, movies and more.
Revealing what inspired her to enter the entertainment industry and become an actress, Ananya Panday mentioned, “I was very over dramatic as a kid. I had older cousins and then a younger sister so I always had to fight to get my parents’ attention. I think the drama in me came from them but jokes aside I love the fact that I can represent people, make someone (anywhere in the world) feel seen and also tell stories.”
Further, when a user asked which fictional character she’d like to swap her life with for a day, Ananya Panday chose Harry Potter. Explaining her choice, the actress claimed that she wanted to experience magic and perform some tricks.
Ananya Panday shared that her favourite movies growing up were Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Mean Girls, as she knows both films by heart. When asked about a genre she’s keen on exploring, the actress mentioned, “Horror. I’m born a day before Halloween I love the thrills.”
When a fan asked Ananya Panday about her favourite songs at the moment, she excitedly mentioned Vicky Kaushal’s Tauba Tauba from Bad Newz. Another user inquired about the time she began watching cricket and started supporting Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL. The Liger star revealed she has been a fan since the very first season. She even shared a nostalgic photo of herself with Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Chunky Panday and Shanaya Kapoor, all wearing KKR jerseys at a stadium.
