Tamil actor Jayam Ravi, who has worked with Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai and Kangana Ranaut, has found himself in the middle of divorce rumours. The actor has been married to Aarti Ravi for a few years now. Although they are relatively private about their personal life, they do share pictures together on social media. However, a few reports have now claimed that Aarti has removed pictures with Jayam, sparking rumours that they are headed for a divorce.
At the time of reporting, Aarti Ravi has over 160 Instagram posts. The posts only feature her pictures. This sparked speculations of their split. However, Aarti not only still follows Jayam on social media, she also proudly calls herself as his wife in her Instagram bio. “I do not Influence. I hope to Inspire. Married to @jayamravi_official,” her bio reads.
News18 couldn’t verify the rumours at the time of reporting. Aarti and Jayam Ravi are also yet to address these rumours.
As per reports, Jayam and Aarthi formed a close bond while she was pursuing her studies in Scotland. They had known each other for 2 years and soon their friendship blossomed into love. They then informed their families as well about the relationship and finally married in 2009. They embraced parenthood as well with two sons Aarav and Ayaan.
The actor had earlier talked about his children while interacting with a popular daily for his film Adanga Maru. He was quoted as saying, “Normally elders in the family tell boys ‘don’t cry’. But I raise my sons telling them ‘don’t make girls cry’. I am not saying this for publicity sake. I mean it. My film (Adanga Maru) also tells the same, which I feel is very important.”
On the work front, Jayam Ravi was slated to appear in Thug Life, alongside Kamal Haasan. However, he had to forgo the project due to scheduling issue. His next film is titled Brother.
