Salman Khan’s brother-in-law, actor Aayush Sharma has reacted to the gun firing outside Salman’s house. On April 14, two men fired gunshots outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments. The attackers have been nabbed and investigation is underway. It is reported that Mumbai Crime branch have declared gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi as wanted accused in connection with the firing. Salman’s security has also been tightened. In a new interview, Aayush spoke about the attack and said that it is a ‘tough time’ for the family.
“We are his family. It is a tough time for us. And we all as a family stand together,” Aayush told ANI. While he said that commenting on the firing might not be appropriate right now, he did praise the Mumbai Police. “A competent Mumbai Police has done a great job in doing what they’re doing, and the matter is still under investigation. So, at this stage, I would just say thank you, to everybody who has sent their love and prayers, that means a lot. And as you all know he’s (Salman Khan) back to work so am I,” he added.
Last week, Salim Khan had also reacted to the firing. Speaking with India Today, he said, “What’s there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you’ll learn your lesson when we’ll kill you). We’ve been given extra police protection. They’ve (Mumbai Police) assured protection for us and our friends. If they’ve arrested two people today, that means they’re on it.”
He also mentioned that Salman has been advised to stick to his usual schedule. Salim said that since the matter is with the police, they’ve been told not to talk about the incident in public.
Meanwhile, Salman returned to work over the weekend. The actor travelled to Dubai on Friday to attend an event. He flew out of Mumbai with tight security and refrained from interacting with the media.
