New Delhi: Fast catching up with his contemporaries in the league of brand endorsements, Arjun Kapoor was recently in the capital to launch a special edition of a popular cycle brand.
All of 30, the young star told us how cycling constituted a major part of his childhood and helped him combat his weight issues. On being asked about any particular memory he had about cycling, Arjun recalled his days when he would ride a cycle to Yashraj Studios to attend acting workshops.
In the last three years that he has invested in the industry as an actor, we have seen Arjun being featured in movies shot at multiple locations across India. From the beautiful beaches of Goa in ‘Finding Fanny’ to the lanes of Old Lucknow in ‘Ishaqzaade’, the heartthrob has often been seen exploring and discovering different cities.
When we asked Arjun about his favourite holiday destination, he promptly said, “I love New York. Many of my friends live there, which made me love that place since I was a child. Also, my sister studied in the city, so my frequent visits made it an absolute favorite over time.”
Arjun, who enjoys a huge fans base, also told us how the complete lack of privacy does bother him at times, but that he has embraced it, and loves every bit of what he is doing. Having said that, the actor added, that if given a chance he would love to get away from the hectic life that one lives in the city and go for a solo cycling trip across the state of Kerala. "That is, if I don't get lost," he laughed.
Besides talking about his love for travelling, he also urged his fans to take up cycling which is both a healthy and low-impact exercise, instead of being hooked to their phones all day long.
