On the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada, married and unmarried women observe Hartalika Teej vrat. This year, Ravi Yoga is falling on the same day of this auspicious occasion. When is Hartalika Teej?

This year, the Tritiya Tithi of Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha starts at 12:21 PM on September 5, Thursday. It will last until 3:01 PM on Friday, September 6. The tradition of observing fasts is traditionally based on Udaya Tithi. Hartalika Teej will be observed on September 6.

Auspicious Timing

Women who will be observing the Hartalika Teej fast on September 6 will have a sacred muhurat of just 2 hrs 31 mins. The auspicious time starts from 6:02 am and will remain till 8:33 am. In some places, the Hartalika Teej Puja is performed during the Pradosh Kaal, which begins after sunset. On this auspicious day, sunset will take place at 6:36 pm.

On the day of Hartalika Teej, the Brahma muhurat is from 4:30 am to 5:16 am, while the auspicious Abhijit Muhurat is from 11:54 am to 12:44 pm.

When is Ravi Yoga?

This year, Ravi Yoga falls on the same day as Hartalika Teej. It will start at 9:25 am and will last until 6:02 am on the next day, September 7. Following the conclusion of Ravi Yoga, Shukla Yoga also falls on the same day. In Hartalika Teej, Hasta Nakshatra will start from sunrise until 9:25 am, after which Chitra Nakshatra will commence.

At which time you should not perform any ritual on the day of Hartalika Teej?

On the day of Hartalika Teej, Rahu Kaal starts at 10:45 am and will last till 12:19 pm. You should avoid performing the Hartalika Teej rituals during this time.
