It easily broke the previous record of 21.683% rating achieved by the finale of another K romance-drama, Crash Landing on You, which aired in February 2020.

Previously too, it set records. Another special episode of Queen of Tears received an impressive rating of 20.7% as per Nielsen Korea’s data. This rating had made it the second highest-rated drama in tvN’s history, surpassing the previous record set by Goblin in 2016, which had a rating of 20.5%.
