As the bitter “breach of trust” war between South Korean multinational entertainment company HYBE Corporation and girl group NewJean’s management agency ADOR continues to gain momentum, ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin’s fashion outing for a press conference grabbed multiple eyeballs. On April 25, HYBE Corporation issued an interim report on ADOR when the latter organisation started making efforts to become an independent establishment.
On the same day when HYBE Corporation filed a police complaint against Min Hee-jin, she met with the local press for two hours where her luxurious sartorial sense became the talk of the town, underlining Min Hee-jin’s influence.
According to Korea JoonAng Daily, Min Hee-jin’s press conference was broadcast on three terrestrial channels, including MBC, KBS, and SBS. It was also viewed on YouTube amassing the attention of the masses. When she was delivering her speech, screenshots and pictures of Min Hee-jin’s exquisite style prowess spread like wildfire on the internet. She was dressed casually for the event, in a green round-collared T-shirt featuring dual white stripes. A blue baseball cap rounded off Min Hee-jin’s chic fashion prowess.

As per the Korean media outlet, Min Hee-jin’s outfit on her press conference day was sold out swiftly. Reports claimed that her T-shirt was picked out from the shelves of Japanese fashion label California General Store. It was priced at 8,800 yen (Rs 4,683). The baseball cap, emblazoned with the LA Dodgers logo was chosen from the 46Brand. The accessory line holds the US’s clothing license for major sports leagues held in the North American country, including Major League Baseball. Reportedly, both the products have been sold out from the official websites.
Speaking about the HYBE Corporation and ADOR conflict, the former has now reacted to Min Hee-jin’s claims at her press conference, reports Soompi. “Of what was claimed by CEO Min Hee-jin at the press conference today, there is so much that is far from the truth to the point that it is difficult to go through them one by one” stated HYBE Corporation before adding that Min Hee-jin “distorted the facts by mixing up the timeline and presented her characteristic distorted way of interpretation in a public setting.”
Previously, ADOR alleged that ILLIT — a five-member girl group founded under BELIFT LAB, a subsidiary of HYBE Corporation was copying another group NewJeans.
