Zoology Professor Shivabasavaiah reinstated

MYSORE:  Mysore University has reinstated Zoology department Professor Shivabasavaiah who was suspended on charges of sexual harassment. In a syndicate meeting held here on Saturday, the Syndicate presided by Vice-Chancellor V G Talwar decided to revoke suspension as per the provision of Karnataka Civil Service Rules. Shivabasavaiah suspended after a research fellow  alleged sexual harassment from her guide.  The Syndicate decided to reinstate Shivabasavaiah as per KCSR rules as he had been kept under suspension for six months.  It is learnt that Shivabasavaiah will be posted as Director, Prasararanga Printing Press on the Mysore University premises.
