Visual media, animation courses

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Resource Centre (SRC) and the Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) will jointly conduct visual media and animation online courses.Applications have been invited for admissions to the February 2012 batch.Director T S Nair said the courses would be helpful for students to get employed in  various electronic media organisations.The course fee for Diploma in Visual Media and Animation for a duration of one year would be `19,800.The fee for Certificate course in Graphics and Web Design (6 months) would be ` 7,800. The fee for Certificate course in 3D Animation and V F X (6 months) would be ` 9,800. He said those who successfully complete two certificate courses would be eligible for  the diploma.
