Bengaluru: Senior Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Praveen Togadia has been issued a notice on Tuesday by the Bengaluru police prohibiting his entry into the city.
Earlier, Togadia was expected to take part in a VHP convention called the 'Hindu Viraat Samavesha' on February 8.
According to sources, Togadia has been banned entry since he is known to make provocative speeches and has several cases against him.
VHP is next in line planning to conduct 'Ghar Wapsis' in Karnataka after the convention this Sunday. The group claims they have conducted Ghar Wapsi for 471 families in Gulbarga district last Sunday.
