UDF recommends CBI probe into Marad massacre

The UDF liaison committee has recommended the State Government to demand a CBI probe into the Marad case, with specific reference to the conspiracy and funding behind the massacre.

The recommendation was based on the ‘belated wisdom’  of the IUML for such a probe.

Both the UDF and LDF were against such a probe all along. As for the BJP, while the state unit stood for it, the party central leadership had shot it down.

Doctors’ Stir Flayed

The meet also took a serious view of  the government doctors going on strike. It urged the government to take immediate alternative steps and go stern against the stir.
