HYDERABAD: MA Shareef, an 83-year-old resident of Malkajgiri in Secunderabad lodged a complaint with the Madhapur police on Sunday that former minister JC Diwakar Reddy’s son JC Pavan and his men had trespassed into his land and were involved in demolition of the fencing. The land is in dispute and an adjudication by the Supreme Court is awaited. The complaint letter was handed over by Shareef’s son Mukkhum. Madhapur police, however, said they did not register any case. Shareef said in the petition that they held 80 acres of land in survey number 63, 68, 69 and 70 at Madhapur in Serilingampally mandal in Rangareddy district. Some persons went to court due to disputes over the land. On May 24, 2010, the Supreme Court directed all parties to maintain status quo. ``One JC Pavan, along with factionalists of Rayalaseema, rowdysheeter Feroz Khan and Swamy went to the land on Saturday, threatened and manhandled watchmen Jayaram Sahu and P Kumar. They brought a JCB and started levelling the land with it. When watchmen told them that the apex court had ordered status quo, the intruders threatened to kill them with lethal weapons,’’ Shareef said and sought stern action against the trespassers and protection to his family’s lives and property. Madhapur police said they received the complaint but did not register a case. Inspector K Srikanth Reddy said Shareef named JC Diwakar Reddy’s son Pavan as having trespassed into the land. “We will summon both the parties to the police station and verify the sale deeds. There is a status quo order given by the apex court. We will take action after verifying the documents,’’ he said. Mukkhum said the land had originally belonged to the late Nawab Mohammed Nawaz Jung. After his death in 1935, his legal heirs filed a suit in the court of Darul Khaza for partition and separate possession of the Matruka properties. In 1950 the court was abolished and the case was transferred to the High Court of Hyderabad in 1951. The High Court of Andhra Pradesh passed a preliminary decree in 1970 declaring 19 properties in various villages as the properties of Nawaz Jung and his wife Noorunissa Begum. Mukkhum said the first additional judge of City Civil Court appointed an advocate commissioner in connection with the case for partition and separate allotment of the shares of the respective parties in the suit. The commissioner submitted his report in 1993 allotting the shares of the respective parties to the suit as per the preliminary decree. The commissioner allotted the land to Jung’s three wives and his nine sons. Mukkhum said they obtained the land from the heirs of Jung and there were some disputes. When the Supreme Court ordered status quo, Pavan and others tried to trespass into the land.
