HYDERABAD: Police on Saturday arrested three persons, one for theft and two for trying to sell two antique idols worth crores of rupees in the international market.Police recovered all the idols that were stolen.Police said they found two persons - goldsmith Edukoju Eswara Chary, a resident of Saroor Nagar and a real estate broker Narimalla Abraham, resident of Vidya Nagar - while they were moving in suspicious manner at Ring Road, Langerhouz.Upon frisking them, police found two antique idols of godesses, C Madhu Mohan, Langerhouz inspector said.When cops interrogated the duo, Chary confessed that four persons Prabhakar, Lanchaiah, Hanumanthu and Raju had stolen the idols from the Venugopala Swamy temple at Rayaprolu village.Based on his confession, police raided Lanchaiah's house at Kodaspalli village of Nalgonda district and arrested him.Police also recovered the idols of Laxmisamyuktha Narasimha Swamy, Venugopala Swamy, Satyabhama, Goda Devi, Chennakeswa Swamy, Budevi, Sridevi.
