BANGALORE: With II PUC question papers leaked and examinations postponed, parents and students are irked and disturbed. “This is a black mark on the education system of the state. In a matter of two days, the officials could not take corrective steps. It is because of corruption in the department that hundreds of students are suffering. Now, they have to spend another few weeks preparing and appearing for the exams,” said Prashanth Gopal Rao, a parent. Many students want to appear for the IIT-JEE exam that will be held on April 8. “I have been receiving messages since last night. It is strenuous that two papers leaked in a row. I wanted to get done with it as Physics is quite tricky. I am finding it difficult to concentrate on my JEE test,” said a student from MES College.Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Vishveshwar Hegde Kageri told Express that structural changes would be introduced next year. “I already received many recommendations for changes to be introduced into the system. Some of the options include structural, fool-proof systems. We will deliberate on the best option after the ongoing II PUC exams are over,” said the Minister.
