CUTTACK: After 75 years of its formation, the Orissa Police on Saturday opened its canteen to provide commodities and goods to its personnel at subsidised prices. The police canteen at Police Lines was inaugurated by Director General of Police (DGP) Manmohan Praharaj here. More than 60,000 personnel and over 40,000 retired staff and officers would benefit from the canteen, Praharaj said. Among others, IG (provisioning) Jaydeep Nayak and senior police officers were present.
