NSS best performance awards announced

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The awards for the best performance in the National Service Scheme (NSS) of the Education Department for the years 2009-2010 and 2010-11 have been announced. The best programme officers who bagged the awards include Sherif P of M J Vocational Higher Secondary School at Vilyapilly in Kozhikode, Kishore M V of Government Vocational Higher Secondary School, Vengara, Malappuram, and Sabu V R of R R V Vocational Higher Secondary School at Kilimanoor, near here.The best volunteer awards went to Anil Kumar of Government Vocational Higher Secondary School at Sultan Bathery in Wayanad, Krishnapriya K of S N M Vocational Higher Secondary School at Vendar in Kollam and Aboobakkar Siddique of Sree Vidya Vocational Higher Secondary School at Eruthenpathi in Palakkad. Special awards will be given to Biju of Govt Vocational Higher Secondary School at Thripunithura, Fathima of Government Vocational Higher Secondary School at Mathirapilli in Ernakulam and Leena of Government at Atholi in Kozhikode.
