New Delhi: Nupur Talwar, an accused in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder has reportedly said she wants to adopt a girl child. The girl is currently in the Dasna jail with her mother where Nupur herself is lodged.
But Nupur will only be able to adopt the girl if and when she is out of jail herself.
Nupur's stay in Dasna jail got extended after the Allahabad High Court on May 16 deferred the hearing on her bail plea to May 22.
Nupur is an accused in the 2008 twin murders of her teenaged daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj. 14-year-old Aarushi was found dead with her throat slit at her Noida residence on May 16, 2008. The body of domestic help Hemraj was recovered from the terrace a day later.
