Nazeem urges CM To inspect Karaikal GH

KARAIKAL: Karaikal South MLA AMH Nazeem has urged Puducherry Chief Minister Rangasamy to visit the Government General Hospital at Karaikal and review the facilities there.Speaking to reporters, Nazeem said in a welcome move, the Chief Minister had started reviewing the Government MedicalCollege and General Hospital in Puducherry region with a view to improving the facilities.“Similarly, the CM should pay a visit to the Karaikal General Hospital along with top officials of the Health Department. The hospital lacks amenities and manpower. He should initiate steps to revive the hospital to past glory,” he said.Nazeem also demanded that regional reservation be implemented for Karaikal students in B.Tech and MBBS admissions this year.He called for a direction from the Government to the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) in this regard.
