National Energy Parliament meet

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first meeting of the National Energy Parliament-India, will be held at Priyadarshini Planetarium, here on December 30. Conceived under the Global Energy Parliament, the event is being organised by the Isa Viswa Prajnana Trust, a charitable organisation, founded by Jagad Guru Swami Isa.The National Energy Parliament-India is a branch of the Global Energy Parliament, a permanent international body founded on the basic postulation that everything which makes up the universe is energy and that the welfare of humans is tied up with the ability to understand the nature of energy and utilising it in a more rational manner. The GEP held its first international meet here last year and the second meet was convened in Germany. An essay competition will also be held for school/college students on “My educational vision for the next 100 years”, as part of the meet.
