Bharatiya Mahila Bank's (BMB) first branch in Madhya Pradesh will be inaugurated in Indore on Thursday by the Additional Secretary Finance, Government of India, Snehlata Shrivastava.
The BMB branch in the city was established in the State Bank of India's (SBI) GPO premises, official sources said. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh inaugurated the all women bank in Mumbai on the occasion of Indira Gandhi's birth anniversary on November 19. The bank was started with a seed money of Rs 1,000 crore.
