KOCHI: Captain K Vattakunnel Thomas, the BSF pilot who died in a plane crash in Ranchi, hails from Kaloorkadu, Thazhuvankunnu, Muvattupuzha. Thomas, 52, is survived by wife Annie Thomas, children George and Raphael and brothers K V Augustine and K V Jose. The family has been living in Delhi for many years. They also lived for a few years at Ollur in Thrissur.
