In custody for her alleged role in murdering her daughter Sheena Bora, TV Tycoon Indrani Mukherjee's lawyers have claimed that her face appeared bruised when they met her. They are likely to allege that she was roughed up by police officers during questioning and are likely to raise the issue in court on Monday.
Meanwhile, Indrani and her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna's daughter Vidhie Mukherjea is in court. After their divorce, Vidhie was reportedly adopted by Indrani's current husband and former Star India CEO Peter Mukherjea.
Indrani, Sanjeev and her driver Shyam Rai have been arrested for murdering Sheena Bora in May 2012. The three accused will be produced in court for hearing on their custody extension.
Mumbai police is also likely to slap fresh charges on Indrani for attempting to kill her son Mikhail Bora.
As per sources, Mumbai police has managed to trace Indrani's first husband and Sheena's biological father Siddharth Das. A team is likely to leave for Kolkata.
Peter Mukherjea's son Rahul Mukherjea, who was allegedly in a relationship with Sheena for a year before her murder, is likely to be called in for questioning again.
