The German carmaker BMW is gearing up to release the all-new M4 CS in the Indian market. The launch date has been set for October 4. It is the lighter yet performance-oriented avatar of the M4 Competition.
The company has not revealed the price details as yet. However, it is expected to hit the market with a higher price tag as compared to the M4 Competition. It will get some major track-focused updates, which will make it more powerful in the segment. The list includes better aerodynamics, improved power figures and an enhanced engine.
Engine and Power
Under the hood, the upcoming M4 CS will use a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine that will generate a maximum power of 543 BHP and 650 Nm. These figures are bigger by 20 bhp compared to the M4 Competition.
Better Tha M4 Competition?
It has been reported that the M4 CS will be capable of doing 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.4 seconds, 0.1 seconds quicker than the ongoing version. To make it more performance-oriented, the model also became lighter by 20 kg, making it superior to the Competition. Most of the credit goes to the carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) and a titanium exhaust that has been used in the mode.
Notable Elements
Apart from this, the coupe is also equipped with stiffer springs, a retuned stability control system, and anti-roll bars, which contribute to its overall driving, making it rooted and more stable than ever.
