IGCAR Recruitment 2018: 248 Posts, Apply Before June 17, 2018

IGCAR Recruitment 2018 notification to fill 248 vacancies for Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts has been released on the official website of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam - igcar.gov.in. The application process will be starting from  May 18, 2018 at 10:00AM. The applicants can apply only for one post at a time. Interested and eligible candidates must apply for the relevant post on or before June 18, 2018, 5:00 PM.

Eligibility Criteria:

Technical Officer/ C (Agriculture) – The applicant must be B.Arch with minimum of 60% marks with valid registration with Council of Architecture.

Technical Officer/ C (Civil) - The applicant must be BE/ BTECH in Civil Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

Technical Officer/ C (Safety) - The applicant must possess BE/ ME Degree in Safety Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

Scientific Assistant/ C (Agriculture) -  The applicant must possess Diploma in Agriculture with minimum of 60% marks.

Scientific Assistant/ C ( Civil) - The applicant must possess Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

Scientific Assistant/ C ( Safety) - The applicant must possess Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

Stipendiary Trainee Category – I (Mechanical) - The applicant must possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

Stipendiary Trainee Category – I (Electrical) - The applicant must possess Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

Stipendiary Trainee Category – I (Electronics) - The applicant must possess Diploma in Electronics/ Electronics and Communication Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

Stipendiary Trainee Category – I (Instrumentation) - The applicant must possess Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

Stipendiary Trainee Category – I (Chemical) - The applicant must possess Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology with minimum of 60% marks.

Stipendiary Trainee Category – I (Chemistry) - The applicant must be BSC in Chemistry with minimum of 60% marks.

Stipendiary Trainee Category – I (Physics) - The applicant must be BSC in Physics with minimum of 60% marks.

Technician/ C – The applicant must be class 12^th passed in Science and Maths with minimum of 60% marks.

Stipendiary Trainee Category –II - The applicant must be class 12^th passed in Science and Maths with minimum of 60% marks

Upper Division Clerk – The applicant must possess a Degree of a recognized University with an aggregate of 50% marks.

Stenographer Grade-III – The applicant must be class 10^th passed with 50% marks.

Age Limit:

The applicants must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 30 years as on last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation applies as per the current norms.

Pay Scale:

Technical Officer/C – Rs.56,100 per month

Scientific Assistant/C – Rs.44,900 per month

Technician/C – Rs.25,500 per month

Technician/B – Rs.21,700 per month

Upper Division Clerk – Rs.25,500 per month

Stenographer Grade-III – Rs.25,500 per month

Selection Process:

 Technical Officer/C – The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and an Interview.

Scientific Assistant/C – The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and an Interview

Stipendiary Trainee Category – I – The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and an Interview

Technician/C – The candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Test, Advanced Test and Trade/ Skill Test.

Stipendiary Trainee Category –II – The candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Test, Advanced Test and Trade/ Skill Test.

Upper Division Clerk – The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test.

Stenographer Grade-III – The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test.
